March of 2009 was one of the most traumatic times of my life. After 23 years of service to Plantronics, I, along with many others was let go. Rather than seek employment with another company, I decided to place my future in my own hands.
I founded Able Zebra Communications, LLC.
I was involved in every aspect of the headset industry during my tenure at Plantronics.
Supporting the Public Safety Market provided me the greatest satisfaction of all.
When it comes to headsets, I found most suppliers lacking in service, especially to the small and medium PSAPs.
Suppliers will cut each others throats for orders. But, when a problem comes up, what do they do? In my experience, they would call me and want Plantronics to make the customer problem go away.
I still maintain a very good working relationship with the Plantronics Service Center so when my customer has a problem, I handle it. I don't call my Plantronics rep...I don't even know who he/she is, I take care of solving the problem.
I work directly with the Service Center to secure replacement of any broken headset. This is where I am able to save my customers the most money!
Many people do not know what to do with their headsets once they quit working. Many do not even know how to decipher the date code for warranty information. Heck, most customers don't even know there is a warranty date code on the headset.
Ask yourself this, does your current headset supplier ask about warranty status when you call them with a problem?
My first question when a customer calls me is; do you have any broken headsets that need warranty replacement?
Headset lines we represent are Plantronics, Starkey, Addasound, Jabra and Sennheiser.
We also provide EarPhone Connection Lapel and Shoulder microphones for Police, Fire, EMS and security personnel.
EarPhone also makes a variety of tactical mics, speakers and headsets worn by SWAT and military personnel.
We at Able Zebra invite you to our growing family of customers. Find out what real service is.
When dealing with Able Zebra, you are working with the owner, me. |
